About the Parent-Child Mother Goose program
There is nothing more important than the attachment between parent and child. The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program builds on this essential relationship and gives parents the tools that make daily life with a young child more fulfilling.
In the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program, parents (or carers) and young children between the ages of 0 and 4 come together to enjoy songs, rhymes and stories. Each group meets with two facilitators once a week throughout the year. Together, parents and children in the program:
These skills, pleasures and insights are then taken home and shared between parent and child through daily activities. The songs and rhymes can also be shared with partners, older children, grandparents and friends. |
